The Alpha Course
The Alpha Course is a FREE course that creates a relaxing and informal space where you can come as you are to discuss life's big questions as we share some food. We run courses throughout the year.
+ Who is this for?
Alpha is for everyone who's curious. The course is all about open conversation and exploring the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly and informal environment.
No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
+ When is it on?
Our next courses begin on Wednesday 1st October 2025, and run weekly until December 3rd:
The Alpha Coffee Mornings course is on Wednesdays 10am - midday, with coffee and pastries provided.
The Alpha Evening Course is on Wednesdays 7.30pm-9.30pm, with dinner provided.
There will be a one off Saturday Alpha Day for both courses on the 15th of November.
All sessions take place at Christ Church Winchester.
+ How does it work?
Alpha is a series of ten sessions. Each session includes a short talk or video, followed by a discussion where you can share your thoughts and ask questions in a small group.
At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
