About Christ Church

Christ Church is a large lively Anglican Church with a strong emphasis on the preaching of God's Word and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. We run three Sunday services and provide a range of groups, activities, courses and pastoral support for all ages and stages of life throughout the week. Our vision is to focus on strengthening the foundations of our faith in Jesus, in readiness for all the Lord has in store: through prayer, meeting regularly, serving others and celebrating being the body of Christ. We have a large children, youth and families’ ministry, drawing on average 110 attendees every Sunday. We run further CYF groups during the week, including a Tuesday toddler group and our Thursday night youth groups where 80-100 young people gather to have fun and learn about God's love for us all.

The CYF Administrator will have oversight of all CYF policies and safeguarding activities for all leaders and support team members. We also expect the CYF Administrator to be a committed member of the Christ Church staff team, participating in staff activities and playing a full part in whole church life.
